Global Cares Day: Together We Care

On October 11, LexisNexis Reed Tech and Intellectual Property employees around the world came together to participate in Global Cares Day, an annual event dedicated to giving back to our local communities.

From volunteering at food banks and shelters to cleaning up parks and beaches, our teams rolled up their sleeves and made a tangible impact. We are proud to see such strong global participation from teams across locations including Amsterdam, Berlin, Bonn, Edinburgh, Manila, Seoul, Tokyo, and the US. 

.The spirit of service was evident as colleagues collaborated on various projects, fostering camaraderie and a sense of shared purpose. It was encouraging to witness the enthusiasm and commitment of our employees, who generously donated their time and energy to support those in need.

Altogether, Global Cares Day see a total of 849 hours volunteered in one day across the globe benefiting 15 non-profits and communities. A big thank you to our Cares Champions and all the volunteers for their dedication and hard work in making Cares Day a meaningful success! 

As part of RELX, all LexisNexis employees have up to two paid days that can used throughout the year for volunteering to support LexisNexis’ partner charities or work with a cause close to their heart.

Global Cares Day is a testament to the company’s core values of social responsibility and community engagement. We believe that by working together, we can create positive change and make the world a better place, one small act at a time. 

As we reflect on this year’s Global Cares Day, we are filled with gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to our communities and inspired to continue making a difference throughout the year.
