Using our proprietary Patent Asset Index, a core feature of the LexisNexis® PatentSight+™ platform, we conducted an in-depth analysis in May 2025 to objectively assess the strength, quality, and global relevance of each company’s patent portfolio. The result? A definitive list of the Top 10 Most Innovative Startups in Texas.
The analysis leveraged the Crunchbase ranking of top private, for-profit companies headquartered in Texas and measured the quality of their patent assets using the Patent Asset Index. This metric incorporates factors like competitive impact, international scope, and portfolio size, making it an ideal lens for identifying companies with meaningful, value-driven innovation.
