Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the intellectual property landscape, creating both new risks and powerful strategic opportunities for IP leaders. This event explores two sides of that transformation: AI in patents, the growing exposure from broadly drafted AI patent filings, and AI on patents, the use of generative and agentic AI to fundamentally change how organizations analyze and act on global patent data.

The first part of the program examines the rising risk environment driven by the surge in AI-related patents. As AI becomes embedded across software, devices, and infrastructure, companies face increasingly broad and foundational patent claims covering algorithms, model architectures, data pipelines, and application-specific implementations.
