1. Select the Folder icon from your result list.
  2. Choose to file your documents into a new folder or an existing folder. With TotalPatent you receive 100 top-level folders and unlimited subfolders. Each folder can hold up to 20,000 documents, giving you an ample amount of digital storage.
  3. Once your documents are in a folder, you can access all the same navigation features available to you in a results list. This includes being able to run narrow searches, change how the documents are sorted and customize the fields view.

Folders are a great way to store your research because everything you file in a folder stays until you delete it. Additionally, Work Folders are tied to your ID, making them accessible from anywhere you log in.
